A Stunning Alpine Town
Courmayeur is just spectacular, with Mont Blanc looming over everything. The town itself is so neat and walkable. Strolling down Via Roma after dinner was a real highlight. It's chic without being too stuffy. A proper mountain town experience.
Perfect for a quiet escape
We were looking for a relaxing break, and this was it. The air is so fresh, and the views are just incredible from everywhere. It's a great place to just unwind, enjoy nice meals, and do a bit of light walking. The local Fontina cheese is amazing.
Great food and fun after skiing
The skiing is great, but the après-ski scene is just as good. So many cozy spots to grab a drink. We had some amazing Polenta Concia at a mountain restaurant that really warmed us up. The whole town has a great social feel in the evenings.
Fantastic Skiing Conditions
Courmayeur has some seriously impressive slopes with stunning scenery. The lift system is efficient, so you spend more time skiing and less time waiting. We found runs for all levels. The view of Monte Bianco from the top is just unreal.
Great for families
Took the kids for their first real ski trip and it was a success. The ski schools seemed well-organized. The town center is mostly pedestrian, which felt safe for walking around with little ones. Plenty of hot chocolate stops to keep everyone happy!
Unbelievable off-piste
If you're an experienced skier, the off-piste opportunities here are world-class. The Val Veny side had some incredible powder when we were there. It's a challenging mountain but so rewarding. The cable cars get you up high really quickly.
